STAGE - Squid Technique and Gear Evolution is Piratez Strike's research and development division dedicated to the sport of squid fishing. The unit study the behavior of squids and decode the predatory habits of each species, whereby techniques for squid fishing are refined and revolutionary equipment are developed to improve the efficiency and enhance the pleasure of squid fishing.
STAGE Boat Eging are specialized Tip Run Eging, also known as deep water squid fishing style rods. The series of ultra-lightweight Eging rods comprises spinning and baitcasting models, all weighing in below 100 grams. Torayca® IM8 carbon fibre are used to build the resilient rod blanks, designed to maintain constant pressure on the squids and possesses the robustness to raise gigantic specimens. The rod’s tip portion is an ultra-sensitive solid carbon quiver tip that possesses the delicacy to detect the most subtle jig movement. Boat Eging are fitted with reliable Fuji® rod guides and reel seats for durability, and are cladded in high-density EVA grips for responsive feedback.
